Disinfect DC Initiative - For Advanced Porgressives and Democratic Party Detox and Invigoration
Edited on Mon Feb-15-10 12:41 PM by theFrankFactor
If you understand our current system in more detail than the average citizen please join The Frank Factor Program and the Disinfect DC Initiative.

If you understand and agree with the following you are invited to join:

* Both sides work against you and me with only marginal differences.
* Those differences are worth voting and fighting for for but in sum, America is moving away from citizen service and closer to complete corporate ownership.
* Only targeted and intense devotion toward reform measures from OUT HERE (you and me) can provide any real hope for change.
* You realize that while MSNBC gives more voice to Progressive ideals it is none the less a corporate entity and as such must be viewed with a skeptics sensibilities. (It is profit driven)
* You do not believe that "Market Based Morality" should be the moral backbone of a free nation.
* You understand that "free market" and anti government rhetoric is driven by corporate propaganda designed to take away your power and representation.

It is my mission to give you a second voice, to proclaim forcefully the ideals and issues we share. To remain one step ahead of the torrent of propaganda and disinformation designed to manufacture an alternate reality that serves corporate domination and preserves the illusion of citizen representation.

I have no desire to move America in to Socialism or Communism:

* These are not the principals upon which the nation was founded.
* Communism is as much an impracticable failure as Capitalism is without a social component.
* It is my belief that a mixed market economy (one that employs a private as well as a public component) is the sensible response to the realities of human nature and the drive for success.
* I believe that the recent Supreme Court ruling endowing private corporate power with the same privileges as the individual citizen is tantamount to a violation of the Constitutional and ethical principals this nation was founded upon and that serve the best interests of American citizens.

Here is a small list of initiatives I believe to be essential to preventing and reversing America from becoming more of a factory farm of citizen feed than it already is.

Thesis

Elected officials from the present two party system represent the interests
of corporations over and above the Constitution and the electorate. America
has been lead into a dangerous and unstable condition due to the
exploitation of the People’s government by corporate influence. There must
be an accountability system that punishes public servant behavior that
subverts electorate representation for corporate favoritism. The separation
of corporation, as well as church and state, must be initiated and
enforced.

Objectives

1. Make elected representatives answer to the electorate.
2. Remove corporate influence from all levels of public governance

Suggested Goals to Accomplish These Objectives

1. Publicly fund elections
2. Eliminate corporate person-hood
3. Initiate instant runoff voting
4. Eliminate electoral college
5. Ban exiting public officials from accepting lobbyist positions
6. Oversight of the Federal Reserve
7. Tax reformation
8. Budget reformation

Citizen Actions to Accomplish These Objectives

1. Strengthen and expand alternate media
2. Infiltrate existing party systems to affect changes
3. Exploit current means to pressure representatives
4. Prepare, support, and run Liberal/Progressive candidates

You should be aware that the positions you likely take now and may take if you are of a like mind with this program will not be well tolerated by our own party members and maybe even your close friends. I firmly believe that driving this discussion in this direction is every bit as vital as standing on a street corner with a sign, perhaps even more. The popular consensus must be shifted away from the shadow boxing and facade that is designed to engorge the public sector and The People's House with corporate domination.

Please help support this effort in any way that's practical for you. Your membership is, in and of its self, a valued asset. Subscribing to the podcast and sharing The Frank Factor with those you feel would appreciate it and perhaps making a financial donation all help significantly.

Peace, Progress and Power,
-=Frank

2. Why, a porgressive is..
is a pore person who is smart enough to now why he is pore and where the money went. The sick fantasy of this country is that poor people are poor because they're all stupid. And if they're not stupid, it's because they're lazy. And if they're not lazy, well they MUST be stupid. Etc., etc., ad infinitum.
