Dissatisfied Democrats Petition the Leadership & Dem Congress
We’ve made a petition directed to the Democratic Leadership and Dem Congress to let them know they have not fulfilled their promises and the membership is unhappy. John Edwards’ 80 page platform was the best of all the candidates obviously since they all began to copy his words.

This petitions the Democratic Leadership to adopt John Edwards' platform as the Democratic Party Platform, and of course "suggesting" that John be on the Democratic Ticket no matter who the candidate is.

Hey, we'll even take a cabinet position, because John Edwards populism is needed to straighten out this country and do for "we the people" instead of we the corporations.

If you want to help by signing the petition and
passing it on, here it is:

1. Signed on . . .
Meanwhile, I think the question of a VP could again be a huge threat to anyone looking for a liberal/progressive non-DLC agenda . . . !!!

I also feel alarmed by candidates who suggest that they will include Repugs in their administration -

2. Let me ask
Edited on Fri Feb-29-08 01:35 PM by kelligesq
do we walk the talk or

just talk the talk ?

It's WE THE PEOPLE against "we the corporations" and all those they've bought in
DC.

We either stand up and say "that's enough" - return to the Constitution, the
Bill of Rights, the Law because we are 300 million people against you 1 percent
or we sink further into "fascism" also known as "corporatism".

John Edwards is so right. The system is broken and it happened because we have been sheeple.

It's time to speak up and let the Pelosi's and Rahm Emanuels and Harry Reid's know THEY LIED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE just as much as the current mis-administration has. They're a rubber stamp for the mis- administration.

And we're gonna stand up , tell them so, and not take it anymore !

3. In many ways, I think that . . .
Jim Garrison was right when he connected the JFK assassination to Hamlet ---
and compared us all to Hamlet trying to figure out the truth ---
did his uncle really kill his father, his own brother . . .
or is he going insane?

We are still waiting for that acknowledgment --- confirmation that a corrupted segment of our
own government killed our president.

We seem to be trying to stand up ... here -- via the Democratic Party.
Is that going to work? Has it worked lately?

When we say "the system is broken" . . . aren't we saying that the Democratic Party is also broken?

Bush/Cheney have told murderous/treasonous lies ---
Reid and Pelosi have, indeed, betrayed us --

Can we send the message that you want to send via the Democratic Party?

My worst nightmares are coming true ---
Instantly, it had to be understood, that the moment political violence was identified --
it had to have been stopped --- otherwise those responsible only gain strength and power and
become increasingly violent.
