I thought that my local paper would discontinue publishing Ted's column after all the furor he caused. But NO! A new column appeared this morning. So it is time to escalate. Please help me rid my city of this outrageous embarrassment.

1. The 1st Amendment wouldn't be necessary if no one had anything to say that others disagreed with.

I know this is not a 1st Amendment issue; still, the better choice calls for writing a letter to the editor responding to Nugents's column.
