My college age son wants to volunteer in DC next summer
and work on the presidential campaign,

does anyone here know how to do this?

any connections out there?  He is a poly sci major.....

2. I am thinking that by that time the candidates of choice will be
down to two or maybe three......

I think he would work for any of them......to
ensure that a Repug doesn't win.....

5. IT is also expensive. I don't have a dog in the fight. Why not check out a battle ground state?
New Mexico can be fun. Or if he wants to have some fun let him come and preach progressive politics to the folks here in Texas.

I'd pick DC too. The brand new "Newseum" is opening up really soon too.

6. I agree with Vincar, little to do in D.C. as far as Presidential campaigns..

and labor unions are always looking for young people around campaign time, and they will train you. Try Change To Win. The Virginia Democratic Party will also train you, and will always take people, that's CLOSE to D.C., if he wants the D.C. scene?
