Maglite is a big Republican supporter
Can anyone recommend an equivalently good flashlight? We need to buy a bunch for work.

A loyal Republican, Maglica donated 40,000 Mini Maglite flashlights for President George H.W. Bush's 1989 inauguration celebration. They reinforced the "thousand points of light" theme. He also supplied them for the younger Bush's inauguration in 2001. Audience members lit the lights as part of a grand finale.

1. I have a Blue point
At least that's what I think it is. I bought it off a tool truck which comes into work weekly. It's supposedly a poor man's maglite, but works well. And it ain't exactly cheap. I paid $22.00 for it. Sturdy, lights well, and compact. Just like Maglite.

14. Blue-Point is a Snap-On brand and they are apolitical
Their owners have only made minimal (less than $500) and on-time contributions plus they are domestic and in a Blue State (Wisconsin)

3. I've known this for some time, but
they make a great flashlight. Sturdy, rugged, made in the USA. LE (law enforcement) knows a good light when it sees one.

8. Oh, I understand.
You've got your work cut out for you, trying to match that quality, especially if you're trying to keep the money here.
