Wish us luck on Sept 18th: Wilmington DE considers anti-patriot act bill
I'm going to try to get out of work early for this event but if anyone lives in Delaware or near Delaware please come join us in Wilmington for this hopefully historic event:

FROM: SEPTEMBER 11TH COALITION FOR JUST AND PEACEFUL INITIATIVES, A PROJECT OF PACEM IN TERRIS

MAKE WILMINGTON A CIVIL LIBERTIES SAFE ZONE

Three states and 159 cities have passed resolutions protecting the civil liberties of their 19,108,084 residents. Hundreds more are in progress. Thursday night is our turn !!

REMINDER

Thursday, September 18 a resolution opposing the USA Patriot Act will be brought up at the Wilmington City Council meeting. The meeting begins at 6 p.m at the City/County Building, 800 North French Street. We will be outside with signs protesting the Patriot Act from 5 p.m. until the meeting starts. Bring a sign and/or an American flag.

COME HELP US FILL UP COUNCIL CHAMBERS;
NO NEED TO LIVE IN THE CITY TO ATTEND.

If you live in the City and have not called your City Councilperson to support the resolution against the Patriot Act, please do it now.

2. Lots and lots and lots of luck to you
I wish my town would oppose it, but this town is so freeperish they would probably pass a resolution asking them to take away more rights!

4. Good luck Wilmington DE!
We're right behind ya. Austin has our resolution up on Sept 25th and I think we are going to pass it. Sending big hopeful, patriotic supportive hugs and positive thoughts your way. This wave of waking up America is a good thing.

LynneSin I'm sure you will keep us posted.
