A few pics from yesterday’s San Francisco rally…..
Unfortunately, I missed the march due to a broken toe.
I went straight to the civic center to set up my button table.
(well, ironing board).

1. Sorry about your toe. Pictures are great!
How clever of you to use an ironing board! I would have stopped for sure.:)

3. Fantastic photos, Sweejak!
Austin really knows how to put on a protest.

4. Let's nominate some of these photo threads for the Greatest Page
MSM isn't covering the protests very well, so we need to share our success where we can, and take pride in what we did.

6. MSM= The Poodle Press: they are all too busy lap-sitting and crotch-
sniffing their reThuglican masters and spewing Riech Wing political propaganda in between serving up Distractions du Jour such as Wacko Jacko, Scott Peterson, Terri Schiavo and even the dead-in-the-water Social Security Destruction, just so the neo-con-men can ramrod through other legislation behind our backs and with little or no notice/protest (bankruptcy bill for one)

7. you're right. When they do cover the issues, it's after-the-fact
when it's too late to do anything. Last Thursday or Friday ABC had a decent interview/overview on what the bankruptcy bill entails, and who it hurts and benefits.

Unfortuantely, it was too late.
:grr:

I have to remember to refer to them as the corporate media or Poodle Press. Mainstream they are not. They're RW tools.

9. Pictures from yesterday's rally.
There are some good photo's.
The ironing board..no comment. They invented that
for us "workers" about 10 years ago.

Have you seen the ones on my site?
www.fromheretoiraq.com

My photo's are on the PHOTO page (duh)...
I usually put favorites on the web home page...but this time I put them in PHOTOS..so probably no one will bother to look...

ON APRIL 4th..Riverside Church...a service for Peace.
Maybe it will be televised. Or, maybe we can find a way to
do that...through some organization or friendly church.

Also..from PDA (if anyone wants one) they will send a free
Tom Hayden Building the Movement....it was "interesting".

How did I miss you and your ironing board?
I like to stick with the Palestinians and friends, when they
yell "Intifada"..at the Zionists!!
Intifada, Intifada, Intifada! The Zionists stand there stony-faced..
and get yelled at. Its quite a good show!

Maybe, as the weather warms up..things will warm up.
Glad to here from some else in S.F.

I live in Chico. Long drive..but worth it!

Cecilia
