Your choice of bank can fight outsourcing
There's a lot of concern about outsourcing jobs overseas.

There's something you can do to fight overseas outsourcing. Large multi-national banks contribute to outsourcing in two ways: they export their own support jobs overseas and they finance business which ship jobs overseas.

What can you do about it? If you switch to a local credit union, you have a better chance of your money flowing locally and being directed to local enterprise. Credit unions have their members' interest at the forefront, not their shareholders and giant investors.

Here is a handy web page to find credit unions in your area. http://www.howtojoinacu.org/ You may be surprised to find you are eligible to join credit unions based on where you live, where you work, where you went to college, and other factors.

You may also be surprised to find what a good deal they are. Lower fees, higher returns on CD's and savings, online banking, and vast ATM networks.

There are plenty of other reasons to not use large banks tied to the corporatocracy. But even your rightwing neighbors are angry about shipping jobs overseas. It's a great reason for them to switch to a credit union.

which is currently being extorted from overseas. See
'California leads way on ID theft legislation'
www.computerworld.com/securitytopics/ security/hacking/story/0,10801,76721,00.html

"...Alan Paller, director of research at the Bethesda, Md.-based SANS Institute, said the California law is probably necessary because of the kinds of crime that are occurring. A group in Russia and Ukraine has been acquiring customer data, extorting money to prevent its release and then selling it anyway. Paller believes some companies are paying off the extortionists in an attempt to contain the damage."

Extortion and the banks say nothing.

It's no wonder banks are advertising how 'safe' they've made you and have set up new ID theft information centers for you ... they're paying for those ads BTW with your dollars, too. The FTC has no jurisdiction overseas in case you're interested.

As our own intelligence professionals, like David Kay the WMD inspector, have had their information hacked with the SAIC hack-job little covered by the MSM, joe sixpack is at similar and greater risk due to mortgage loan files being accessed overseas. These files are the 'holy grails' of personal financial data.

Hey Alpharetta (nice choice point for info !) love the name you chose for yourself !
