I own a ton of Louis' stuff, both on CD and vinyl . . . I recently picked up this one on a whim, and I gotta tell ya, it's great! . . . some of Pops' best trumpet work, with a few classic vocals thrown in . . . very traditional jazz/blues, aas only he could do it . . . opens with "West End Blues", the intro to which is one of the classic trumpet pieces of all time . . . for some great Spring listening, do yourself a favor and get this CD . . . also a great intro to some of Louis' best stuff for those who haven't yet gotten into his music . . . you'll thank me . . . :)
