The Lounge's blueprint for disrupting General Discussion

1. Remember that GD posters expect legitimate political discussion. Don't leap into posting sex threads until you've gained their trust.

2. If you want to start a thread about sports in GD, disquise it. For instance, do not start a thread with the title "Cubs win!" Instead, try "I think John Kerry will be as successful in November as the Cubs were tonight!"

3. Critisizing *Bush is an easy way to sneak Lounge threads into GD. "Boy, Bush would hate this latest M.A.T.C.O.M. photoshop!" would be an excellent GD thread.

4. Same thing with music polls. "Worst Bush song" would work in either forum.

5. For Newyawker99 only: You can sneak milestone threads into GD: "Congratulations, GeorgeWBush! 5,000 lies!"

6. Good avatar for GD: Ralph Nader walking up a ladder, showing his butt.

7. If you follow the steps above, you'll be able to post the following thread in GD in no time: "CONFESS! The last Republican I had sex with was...."
