What an ugly slide(baseball)

I'm watching the Reds vs Pirates game, Sean Casey hit one deep in the outfield with one runner scoring and Griffey rounding third, they throw it to the catcher but miss the plate about 3 feet to the right and Griffey just displays one of the ugliest slides I ever seen. I thought he injured himself again or it looked like he was trying not to injure himself. Anyways it's good to see Griffey playing well, he also hit a two run monster earlier in the first inning.

that was just plain painful to watch. And they showed it over and over again.
