Just finished the first thing I've built in years

A tv stand made of 2 by 2 and 2 1/2 by 1/2 inch planks. It's what I'm dubbing "The poverty collection" Basically it looks like a old peach crate.

I work as a software developer these days but love working with my hands. My best bud's front wheel bearings were just declared DOA so I get to take his car's front end apart this week end. Whooohooo! (Hope I can put it back together the right way ... no left over parts or such ...)

old soda crates(wood) for books. unfortunately i took metals(yes i am a chick) insyead of woods, BUT i did build 2 tape cases with my own hands.
