Hoosiers - I think it's time to build us an ark....
It's coming down like all hell here in west-central Indiana...one tornado already touched down in the northern part of the country where I live. Anyone else getting blasted right now?

1. Used to live in Southern Indiana
In and around Jeffersonville and New Albany.

I'm in California now, but I might be able to help with the ark effort by sending pairs of animals. Would you be interested in a couple of glassy winged sharpshooters? :)

2. Currently booming through South Central (Ind,).
don't have the tv on to know about any twisters - maybe I should turn it on? Have to go on the road in a couple of hours - gee, if we still have the weather, won't that be fun.

Edited on Wed Jul-09-03 04:07 PM by JitterbugPerfume
In Northeastern Indiana. Lightning struck a transformer just across the road from me and it looked like a light show in here there for a minute Of course it knocked out my phone too . I was here alone and although I love a good storm I was a little skeered ( I live in the country)

4. Stuck inside....
I work in a high-rise in downtown Indy in a room w/ no exterior windows. Whole weather systems come and go, and I don't even notice...

Guess I'll just wait for the Civil Defense sirens to go off. Always reminds me of the WKRP episode where Les Nessman reads during a tornado warning from a '50's era Civil Defense manual, substituting "tornado" for "Communists". Too funny. I really miss that show.

8. WHOOO
I love bad weather. As long as its not ripping the roof off. . . .

I'm really even MORE excited to see Hoosiers here! YAY!! I was thinking I was going to have to move far away from Indianapolis because its so damn conservative!

Thank you for making my day!

9. Mercer County, Ohio
is where my parents live. They are currently in a "state of emergency" with no unnecessary travel due to the massive flooding. One village (Wilshire), in Van Wert County, has only one road open in and out of town. So far, my parents have been lucky-just standing water in the fields.
