He pretty much lambasted the Bush admin. for being non-conservative, wasteful, bad planning, irresponsible, etc. There was another thread with some quotes around before, you might want to look for that. A bit dry, but still worth listening to!

7. I thought he was terrific
He showed his sense of humor and his intelligence. The part that struck me is how courteous and inclusive he was to Katherine Lanpher (Franken's co-host). Too many pols talk to the most politically connected and ignore the rest. Kerry did not and was genuine with his respect. I liked it.

And that's what I thought was great.

Yeah, he wouldn't be good at stand-up comedy, but then again, I don't plan on voting for John "Shecky" Kerry - I plan on voting for Senator John Kerry. And in for years, voting for President Kerry again...
