Observant Jewish DUers: What are your meals like this week?
I'm not Jewish, and my wife, who is, is not observant, but we did go to a seder with friends. I'm curious what Pesach is like for you gastronomically speaking. What are your favorite meals? Do you love this time of year or is it a pain in the tuchas?

5. Do you have a Passover cookbook?
I was just looking at Jewish cookbooks on Amazon and the Sephardic ones look most delectable, in particular their number two best seller, Cucina Ebraica: Flavors of the Italian Jewish Kitchen.

3. Fried Matzos with syrup
I'm not observant but I'm not a goy either.

Fried matzos is really good instead of freedom toast.

Break into 2 inch pieces
soak in egg/milk mix like freedom toast
fry it up

4. Lots of salad
tuna on matzoh and of course, matzoh ball soup. It's boring but it's only 8 days.

6. my meals are like having teeth pulled...
Painful and agonizing. Actually, I've been eating a lot of fruit and meat. It's kinda like being on the Atkins diet.

7. Do *you* have a passover cookbook?
If I observed passover, I'd like to think I'd be leaning heavily on our Jewish cookbooks. Of course, I'd like to think that, but we'd probably be eating nothing fruit and matzo ourselves. And matzo brei.

8. the web is great for recipes-
http://www.jewish-food.org/catindex.htm

the passover roll recipes are great-
sorta like baked matzo balls

we have organic whole wheat matzoh -yum!

i have some wonderful old cookbooks from the 1930's
but you can do things like flourless cakes too-
either substitute or use cake or matzo meal for the flour.
