1. Remain in Light has too much Eno for my taste
So I went with Fear of Music. Still Eno, but in a more acceptable dose. :)

3. I was listening to Fear of Music last night
after a long, long hiatus from the Heads, and I was just lovin' it! Specially Air, Animals and Drugs.

2. Remain in Light....
Moreso because it was a turning point in my musical life (as opposed to theirs). I had just came from a small-town America, top 40 world - and they helped open my eyes to a different music world.

I wish they had remained together and still made good music. Oh, well...

6. Definitely Remain in Light.
It's a fantastic Top 100 of all time disc. Eno-funk to the max!

4. Little Creatures.
Yes, I know it's their poppiest album, but that's probably why I like it.

5. I'm surprised Speaking in Tongues isn't doing better.
Wasn't that their best-selling album?

(I haven't picked my favorite yet. I'm still thinking.)

7. Qu'est-ce que c'est?
"Talking Heads '77" is fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-far better than any of the others.

Actually, I like lots of TH records, but I always come back to "Psycho Killer."

10. I can't pick just one.
They all fit with a different period in my life. 77 - playing it endlessly when home from college and hiding from my parents in my small town.

Remain in Light is great.
I love Little Creatures, too.
We played the groves out of every one! You can't pick just one. One for every mood!

11. my favorite right now....
..."remain in light". each one of their albums (including, yes, "true stories") has had an honored place in my disc cradle. right now it's RIL...."listening wind" just has eerie political resonance right now.

but i'll put any one of these albums in my player anytime. talking heads when they were on their game were bar none the best band in the world.

14. The Best Talking Heads Concert...
David Byrne came onstage all alone, carrying only a boombox. He set the boombox on a stool; took a cassette tape out of his shirt pocket; slipped it in; and pressed play. The music started; and one by one, each band member came onstage, taking his/her place. When the music hit its peak, the music suddenly stopped and the arena went completely dark. Then a single light focused on Byrne. He walked over to the boombox; picked it up; and slapped his forehead (like in a V8 spot). He took the back off the boombox; put new batteries in it; and again pressed play. They started playing right where they left off. It was GREAT!!!!
