Baseball fans
What is the easiest Ballpark to pitch in and why? I know Coors Field is the toughest because of the 5,200-foot field elevation.

3. I've been told...
that Safeco Field is a "pitcher's park", but you can't tell by the way the Mariner's staff has fared so far this season....

4. Dodger Stadium has had a reputation of being a good pitcher's park.
Don't know why, exactly. It might be because the stadium sits down in a ravine.

5. there are a few
though the trend in recent ballpark construction has been to build hitter-friendly parks

Comerica Park in Detroit is a pitcher's park

Dodger Stadium is the prototype pitcher's park

Pac Bell Park in San Francisco

Since they butchered the ballpark in Oakland, it has been very friendly to pitchers

Shea Stadium is pretty tough to hit in.

Safeco Field in Seattle is said to be a pitcher's park.

6. Oakland has that HUGE area of foul ground.
That takes points off the batting average and helps pitchers get extra outs.

7. I've heard Detroit's new stadium is pretty brutal
for hitters. Dodger Stadium and Shea have always been pitcher friendly. Just check the home and away ERAs for pitchers in those stadia and you'll get the info. Yankee Stadium is good for lefthanders, not so good for the righties due to the short porch in right.

8. Comerica Canyon
Where deep fly balls go to die!

The Astrodome was the worst stadium in the history of baseball. Year-in-year out had the lowest HR numbers ever.
