Herbal remedies you use?
I have, for the past few months, tried to get healthier for the future (if there is one).

I have started using ginseng to increase stamina and ability to stay alert during the day. I also take ginkgo biloba to hopefully increase mental acuity.

Any other ideas on what might be good to use for increasing daytime energy levels and decreasing mental "fogginess?"

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

eliminate the caffene
eliminate the processed sugar and white flour

it will take about two weeks to clear this stuff from your system.

5. the bread is killing you (almost literally)
you set up a constant battle of insulin trying to keep up with surging blood sugars (breads are almost transformed into sugar while still in your mouth).

your body is so busy managing this chemical warfare that theres no oxygen left for your brain.

I love bread too but I feel so much better when I minimize it its not even funny.

good luck !

4. tumeric for inflammation
it's pretty effective. I also use a combo of valerian/passionflower for sleeping.

For promoting mental clarity, I take holy basil, an adaptagen. It also helps raise my energy level a little.

6. Acidophilus and Bifidus for intestinal clarity
another reason that starch is a good thing to avoid, and an un-natural part of the human diet, is Klebsiella -the intestinal bacteria that processes it as it passes thru...klebsiella is one of the nastiest critters living in all of our guts. tri/"pro"-biotics can help the good bacteria crowd out the bad.

7. I now use stevia as my sugar substitute and absolutely love
it. It's from a plant and it totally natural. You can get it at most health food stores. I also take extra vitamin B, DLPA (to help with my endorphins, a multi-vitamin, and a special herb that my acupuncturist created.
