Nothing like the sound of fake fingernails pounding away on a keyboard
to drive one crazy.

My co-worker is gonna send me to the funny farm.

Not only the fake nails....she has to SLAM the keys down.

I liked it better when she had no nails!

1. I had a DATA ENTRY co-worker (!!!!!) with REAL nails so long she had to single-peck...

.
... her keyboard with the eraser end of a pencil.

.
.
She didn't last long and HR got a stern "educational session".

3. I don't know how people get anything done with those thing s.
I watch women at checkout counters punching in numbers with these enormous nails and wonder how they don't hit two keys at once. How do they do things around the house? And I wouldn't let anyone with those nails hold a baby! Ouch!

5. They aren't even that long.
I think she actually enjoys the sound of them.

She also drums her fingers on the desk all day.

UGH!!!!!

12. I worked with someone like that once
That sound drove me nuts, too. And yeah, she loved the sound of her nails clacking on the keyboard. Did it nice and loud. Ugh. I feel your pain. x(

She has just recently been going to get her nails done and I guess she's thrilled about it...since the Summer...so, we've had red, white and blue for the 4th of July...then dots for a while, then Halloween shit (ORANGE), then some Thanksgiving theme....and as of a few days ago, Christmas trees! Who the eff has the time or the patience to get that shit painted on their fake nails? Not me!

To each their own, but shit, she's driving me nuts!!!!

'I sometimes even forget they're there' (but driving can be a bit of a problem): Singer who hasn't cut her nails for 18 years

Then again, this kind of person might not type (although the article has a picture of her playing the piano...)

9. I fucking HATE those things
You know some of the sensory shiver issues some people get with squeaking chalk or certain textures or chewing aluminum foil? Yeah, it's like that for me.

I also don't get why anyone, anywhere, has ever thought that freakishly long nails looked GOOD. Ugh.
