1. I have a fairly old one

Mostly harmless and bit moth-eaten. The main thing with political discussions is to talk over them repeatedly without stopping until they shut up. Eventually they stop trying and you can avoid politics.

Almost as bad as some dogs will.

3. The problem is feeding them

With their heads always up their asses, you can never find their mouths. That configuration does help cut down on the amount of crap in the yard though.

4. No, they poop on the floor

And most of them eat their own poop. It's pretty disgusting. Best thing to do is leave them outside in the cold. Snow is better.

5. I had one for a few weeks but ended up having it euthanized

nothing wrong with it - it was just annoying and didn't think anyone else would want it.
