I haven't found any in years. Too many people going after them in many areas. Throw in bad weather, etc., and they're sure fewer and far between compared to what I remember back in the 70's.

Morels are very holey. :evilgrin:

They're also hollow on the inside, so I guess you could also just be more of an asshole (what they look like when you slice them into rings).

Start drinking heavily and take all the drugs you can find. Morels are rather boring until they're cooked. They have almost no flavor raw but that comes out strongly after they are cooked.

If you feel slimy, jump in the compost bin.

You'll need to learn how to become a spore whore. Morels didn't start growing so they could be fried in butter. They're the "fruit" that wants to distribute as many spores as possible BEFORE getting eaten.

If you change your mind and decide to become a truffle, you will either need a chocolate shop or a pig.
