They have to listen to the store Muzak Christmas tunes through their entire shift.

Local stores around here had Christmas CD's out (including at the checkout,) for weeks now.

6. It's a ploy by the retailers to get you to spend money.

They think that if you listen to Christmas music, you'll be happier and want to spend more money and buy shit you don't need.

12. i think it has started earlier now, it starts after halloween

the stores stock up on christmas lights, decorations and other things by end of august.

11. Christmas decorations came early to our house this year

I guess we needed a psychic boost, because a couple of small trees have already made their appearance :)
