10. The Midsummer one was actually pretty good
not a substitute for the real thing, but should give you enough of a clue as to what's going on so you can enjoy the poetry.

13. I think so too. In my experience it paid to
see and read the works in as many forms as reasonable. eg. watch the play on DVD, read Cliff Notes, read other analysis.

14. I always tell people to read a Shakesperean play or at least a synopsis
before watching it in a live performance or as a movie. That way, you can let the language sweep you up, instead of spending half the time trying to figure out wtf is going on. :)

15. Hubby got through high school reading Classics Illustrated comic books
He's dyslexic, but it was not defined until well after he graduated from high school. He still has some of those comics and has collected additional ones.
