Step by step Sunday pancakes!1

Step 1: Discard wrapper. If it's the last packet in the box, flatten the box into the recycling stack.

Step 2: Slap the cakes together over the sink to dust off excessive frost.

Step 3: Arrange them on a microwavable dish and cover with paper for zapping 1:15 minutes.

Step 4: Smear each one with healthy fake butter.

Step 5: Stack and cut them up, drown them in fat/sugar free syrup or whatever it is.

Step 6: Enjoy with a spoon.




(Just pulling the chains of our many gourmets, although our gourmands will just go for it.)

1. Are you serious? There are microwave pancakes?

If so, I have lost all hope for civilization.

Actually, they're quite good. And come in all sorts of varieties ---buttermilk, whole grain, whatever!1





However, a tip, one packet of 3 is about fine: Only a gourmand would take six or more!1

5. It takes about 10 minutes to make them from scratch.
