My dad was rear ended in a car wreck today.
Hit and run. I think someone got the license plate...

Not that I really care about the darn car. I want him to go to the ER and get checked out. Of course, I can't physically drag him there from over 500 miles away. stinks.

1. make him go
I used to think that people took advantage of insurance agencies after "little" accidents, until one affected me. Have had arm pain for 2 months now....but already settled.

How about Urgent Care and Xrays? And don't let him settle for a month.

Good vibes your way.....

2. See how he feels tomorrow.
It often takes a day or so for the effects of whiplash to show themselves.

It is very real, and there is no way to measure it medically. He should be checked out if he is suffering any pain, though.

Your father's insurance should pay for any medical care, plus pain and suffering, under uninsured motorist coverage, unless that plate can be checked and the driver located with insurance.

I worked in auto insurance claims for several years, a lifetime ago.
