What was the name of the short film where....
This guy is about to be hung from a bridge. I think it's set during the Civil War and maybe he's being hung for desertion or something.

But anyway they push him off the bridge. But the rope breaks and he falls in the water but his hands and feet are still bound. He manages to kick off his boots so that he can kick himself to shore but they are still chasing him. He gets his hands free and somehow gets away. And he manages to run home and he spots his beloved and hes running into her arms when.....but no spoilers.

Does anyone remember the name of that?

1. Twilight Zone episode
It's on You Tube. I don't recall the name of that episode, but someone else here probably does.

7. I first saw it in public school too.
Teach timed it perfectly. And this was on an actual film reel projector.

It was like SNAP!!! And the bell rang. And he just turned the lights on and said. "We'll talk about this tomorrow."

You just rendered a burning, smoking hole in my psyche with...possibly one of the most psychologically disturbing films of all time...and you're sending me to ALGEBRA?

Oh KEY DOKE!
