One of my students yesterday insisted to me "Welcome to the Jungle" was a Guns & Roses song
And I was all like, No, it's an AC/DC song that Guns & Roses covered. It was a pretty faithful cover, so it's not like they even put their own spin on it. But she was all, No, I've heard it on the radio. Guns & Roses did that song. She didn't say "wrote that song" but I could tell that's what she was thinking. I will, of course, see to it that she has to repeat American History.

1. AC/DC is an Austrailian band so shouldn't you make sure she repeats Austrailian history?

3. Hate to break it to you, but...
"Welcome to the Jungle" was written by Axl Rose and Slash. You may be confusing the "B" side, which outside of America was a cover of AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie". In America, the "B" side was "Mr. Brownstone".

6. Ha ha! That's great!
 !!! Wow. I don't know where I got the idea that it was AC/DC. But it really doesn't matter if you're right in life. It only matters that you hold your ignorance with certainly and officiousness. Then you win.
