Edited on Fri Sep-02-11 05:52 PM by struggle4progress
at this number. Thanks. Bye!"

Ok: gotta give her credit for getting my first name right. She left her first name, but I have abso-fuggin-lutely no idea who she is: she mumbled, and while I could narrow her first name down to <A> or <B>, I'm not certain, and she didn't leave a last name. I don't know any <A>. The one <B> I know always leaves her full name in messages. Also, after "give me a call at this number," she left no number. Nobody leaves messages like this

:tinfoilhat:

Fuggin scam, that's what I think. If she calls back, it'll be with a song-n-dance about, oh, how she's stuck in RaguSauce BritishColombia, out-of-money, having been mugged, and I'm the one and only old friend she's been able to contact. Then maybe I should tell her I'm being moved into the Witness Protection Program due to all the death threats and the Feds are running traces on all incoming calls?

1. I bet a dollar
she meant "this number" to be the one on your caller ID. I bet she called from a cell phone and assumes she was calling to a cell phone because kids today don't even remember there were regular phones once upon a time.

2. Be careful, dude! Once you become a mod, a lot of people start looking
to get their hooks into you - it's almost certainly a trap... :scared:
