1. Thanks for sharing the pics!
Amazing architecture. I especially liked the stairs, and inside the cathedral. :)

2. Thanks
:)

I used a wide angle lens inside the cathedral and baptistery. I used my wide angle lens a lot during the two weeks :)

I had to wait a while till I had empty stairs and enough time to take the picture. It isn't spectacular but I like it a lot too.

20. I loved the texture....and to me, it's very evocative...
Who has used those stairs, where do they lead...all sorts of questions come to mind. Cool stuff.

3. Oh WOW MissH!
These photos are fantastic especially "Inside the Baptisry". Looks like you are having a lot of fun with your wide-angle lens!

But . . . I think you should tell someone about that building that's leaning - something should be done about it!

:hi:  :loveya:

4. Hi Callalily
:hi:  :loveya:

Yes, I had fun with my wide-angle lens :D

They actually just re-opened the leaning tower some years ago after stabilizing it, so it wouldn't lean even more. The tower was closed for many years. And didn't you see all the people holding it, so it wouldn't fall down?

7. Beautiful pictures
Takes me back to when I visited there decades ago and climbed the tower. Is the tower closed or open these days?

11. The tower is open again
after it was closed for years for restauration and statics.

But you have to wait ages till you are allowed to get on. And it costs quite a lot. So we declined.
