Mayor Bloomberg: And for the surfers: We all know that it’s a lot of fun to catch a big wave.
Our mayor loves to ask himself questions at news conferences -- "Is the City doing all it can? Yes" -- but now apparently he is a surfer at heart.

Actual quote: "...And for the surfers: We all know that it’s a lot of fun to catch a big wave. This storm is dangerous and we just don’t have the resources..."

He went on and said something like "some of you may think it is cute to not evacuate." The thought of Bloomberg surfing was enough to have us riffing on this thing all of yesterday:

"And for the heroin addicts: we all know what a rush it is to mainline the whole 10-dollar bag in one shot. We're not going to stop you.
And for those with Ninja Bikes: we all know how much fun it is to ride wheelies down Wall Street and then ride 160 MPH on the Westside Highway. Knock yourselves out.
And for the default exchange swappers: we all know how much fun it can be to crash the economy by betting against bad loans. Laugh all the way to the Fed.
And for the City's frat boys: we all know how much fun it can be to do head stands and beer bongs until 4 am. We won't stop you either; just don't complain tomorrow that the sun is too bright and your head hurts."

...somebody stop me.
