A couple of the neighbors cats now think they own my yard...
on rotating days. And both are always sooooooo tired. So tired all they can do is come by me for a quick rub and then fall over and look up at me swish tails all sassy like.

1. My yard also seems to be some kind of cat time-share.

I have three indoor cats who sit in the windows and watch these guys with suspicion and some indignation. The time-share visitors are a sleek black cat and a thin, apparently elderly dilute tortie. They are obviously somebody's pets - the black one is too fat and healthy-looking to be a stray, and the tortie, while scrawny, wears a collar. I think she's skinny because she's old. But the two of them take turns hanging out in my garden, where I have a lot of catmint and catnip. They are never there at the same time, which is why I think they have a time-share deal. They are welcome to be there - if you have cats in your garden you don't have rabbits.

2. My neighbor's cats think our yard is their litter box.
Plus they aren't neutered so they spray all over the place. Disgusting.

3. Lots of outdoor cats in my neighborhood.
Almost all of them are tuxedos. I find that curious.
