Has anybody used the product "cedarcide?" (natural insecticide)

Would love an alternative to "Frontline" type poison but my cat (and all of us) are miserable without it. Heard the Steph Miller ad & curious if anybody's tried it.

1. This is a coincidence
A friend many years back started the whole business of making cedar dog beds and cedar oil to keep fleas away - that was in the 80s. In his case, he used Western Red Cedar which is quite powerful. It looks like cedarcide is using different kinds of cedar.

When I was using the red cedar oil for my cats, which was concentrated, I didn't put it directly on their fur. I put it on things they would sleep on. It worked.

It is worth a try. The oils are really the immune system of the tree. The Western Red Cedar is a powerful tree that lives for hundreds of years so you know it is effective at keeping harmful insects away. The oils from the cedar this person is using is probably good, but not as powerful.

2. Does it smell as magnificent as it sounds like it does?
Might be worth a lot right there. My dogs smell like...dog.

You feel like you are out in the woods. Someone bought my friend's business and they are selling the Western Red Cedar oil and other products. They don't seem to be selling products to apply directly to the cats and dogs - though I might be wrong. You could definitely use it on their bedding. http://www.cedaroil.com/

Guess I was wrong - they have a shampoo for pets.

5. My mom uses it
She got the fogger they sell for it, it seemed to work well. You can also put it in a spray bottle. The website they sell it on has some cool videos of how to use it. Another thing to try is diatomaceous earth, spread it around the yard.
