1. Interesting
We wanted to see it when it first came out. Is it out on Netflix yet?
What did you like about it? No spoilers, please. :hi:

3. I ordered it from Netflix.
I don't think it ever played here in our local theaters.

4. yes..that's where I got it from...
I like historical movies...this was one. Watching it I thought some of the things that were happening could very easily fit into what's going on today. The costumes, acting, and scenery were all very good as well.

Reading down further, it seems some of it may have been somewhat inaccurate. But still good.

2. I just watched it too! I give it a mixed review, though.
I thought the beginning was a little confusing and they didn't do a great job of identifying all the historical figures. Upon further investigation I found there were some historical inaccuracies in the actual chain of events-- maybe they were changed for the flow of the plot.

The acting, dialogue, costumes, cinematography, sets, etc. were all wonderful, though. Apparently this is one of a series of films that will portray important events in US history.

5. I agree about the beginning...
I had to restart cuz I was a little confuse as to who was who.

I'll have to look it up, to be honest I don't remember hearing about Mary Surratt. Maybe I did and just don't remember.

I hope they do make more, I do enjoy movies that are history based.
