2. I remember the summer I first discovered old HP.

I found this old ratty paper back book for about 10 cents at a used book store.

It was collection of his stories.

I was hooked.

I was 13 years old, the book scared me.

I was living on the farm so it was really dark at night.

I wouldn't go out at night after reading that book.

Cornell Woolrich, for instance. Or Robert E. Howard. Regular happy upbeat fellows.
