4. I'll just list
Edited on Tue Aug-16-11 04:29 PM by OriginalGeek
the last ten and next 10 on my playlist (except in my car, I don't really listen to albums as cohesive wholes any more - I load up close to 30,000 songs on my music server at work and hit randomize and then press "play". Whatever comes up comes up and I listen to it).

so without further ado:

Weirdos - Destroy All Music
Nile - Invocation to Seditious Heresy
Pink Floyd - Quicksilver
Kings of Leon - Wicker Chair
Rammstein - Mein Teil
Accept - Down and Out
Traveling Wilburys - Inside Out
Gang of Four - To Hell With Poverty!
The Kinks - One Of The Survivors
Tchaikovsky - Piano concerto No 1 in B-Flat minor Op 23 (wtf? Why he couldn't just give songs names?) lol
Swans - Fool
Megadeth - I Ain't Superstitious (It's funny because it isn't true - Dave Mustain is a professed christian...)
Buddy Holly - That'll Be The Day
Rocky Horror Picture Show Soundtrack - Time Warp
Kris Kristofferson - Please Don't Tell Me How The Story Ends
Gang Green - Fuck In A
Peter Tosh - Leave My Business
Dropkick Murphys - Caught In A Jar
Aborted - The Holocaust Incarnate
Dead Kennedys - Dead End

I love all of their music but this album is particularly good imo. It's great they involve so much other musical talent in their projects as well.

11. Prokofief Piano concertos #2 and #3. Evgeny Kissin, piano.
Vladimir Ashkenazy, conductor.

Piano Concerto #3 is really cool. Sounds like mushy movie music with some weird dissonances and modulations thrown in.

Sergei Prokofief was NOT a guy who needed drugs, obviously.

15. Bob Dylan - Down in the Groove
I like all his stuff. Even the albums that weren't critically well-received.

It has really nice versions of Shenandoah, and Rank Stranger To Me, and is an easy record to listen to.

I saw this video in 85, this band was 10 years ahead of it's time. If you notice near the end of the video you can see the world trade center while the people run in panic. Eerily prophetic. :scared:

21. Mahler's Symphony No. 2
"Resurrection"

I always thought Mahler would be unlistenable, like Bartok or Kodaly.

How wrong I was! What a range of sounds and textures he weaves.
