Corn dogs!! I like 'em :P
Edited on Tue Aug-16-11 02:16 PM by kick-ass-bob
But who could have known that THIS was to be the Next Big Thing™ that blew up GD.

We had our runs on pit bulls, then yesterday vegetarianism and a try on homeschooling - all paled in comparison to the almighty
.

.
CORN DOG!!!

Here, have some mustard:

1. My freezer is never without
a box of State Fair corn dogs. And mustard is the only condiment they need.

2. once a year I indulge
at the state fair but six bucks for a corn dog is a bit ridiculous, even if it is jumbo sized polish sausage.

4. That was a really big corndog.
I don't like corn dogs.

I liked fried foods but not corndogs.

Now a pig in a blanket, I wish I had one now.

11. THe State fair is by far the best
place to get Corn Dogs - I've had 'em in Florida and at the Texas State fair - but once a year is not enough corn dog for me.

I don't deep fry them - just pop 'em in the oven for 20 minutes and you got a reasonable facsimile of a real State Fair corndog. Snackalicious!

5. Apparently, nobody in GD has ever eaten a sausage of any sort,
or ever been to a fair. Actually, no big surprise there.

6. My wife and I always made a beeline for them at the Texas State Fair.
To tell you the truth, those Bachmann pictures only had me hankerin' for a Texas State Fair corny dog. Not those sad little things they sell at Sonic.

8. I love them.
At the Minnesota State Fair they have Pronto Pups. They've been around since the '40s. http://prontopup.net/shoppingcart/pages/Our-History-.html I always make a point of having at least one whenever I go to the fair - which is opening next week. Pronto Pups, here I come. No other corn dog will do.

12. Yep, Pronto Pups are the way to go.
I like the stand right near the dairy building. Chocolate malt with a Pronto Pup (we call 'em Procto Pups).

10. Proctological exams are important, too
But I really don't want a photo montage of the candidates undergoing those, either. Although in one or two cases, such an exam might be conducted by a neurologist.
