Finally finished A Dance With Dragons (spoilers)

OOOOOO. I swear if we have to wait another 5 years to resolve all the cliff hangers here I'm gonna have a stroke! Outside of the shocking ending of Storm of Swords I think this is the most shocking end in many ways. Remember when after book one it seemed like the main story line was Stark vs. Lannister? Are there going to be ANY Starks or Lannister's left by the end of the next story! :wow: Really really liked the story though and was really glad to see it lived up to the name with much more dragon involvement.

1. (Spoilers) yes I agree and since I was listening to it on my kindle

I didn't realize it was over. I told Chris that I just couldn't take the wait on Daenerys and Cersei . I want Cersei dead and Daenerys living. Leaving that poor girl out in the middle of nowhere, dining on blackened horse, wearing dirty underwear was just wrong! I realize we need a nasty protagonist like Cersei but there are any number of them to take her place, like Ramsey for one. :hi:

2. I am really mad with the Lannisters

that just when two of them seemed to become decent people (Kevan and Jaime) they are either dead or in grave danger.

3. I read someone here thinks that perhaps Kevan is not dead.

Anything is possible with George RR I suppose so that would be a great twist but he normally kills his characters off for good.

the next two books have to be written and published soon enough to be filmed and ready to go 5 and 6 years down the road.
