HELP!!! I need exterminator advice......
.....got tiny blackish/brownish flyin' beetle lookin' bugs invadin' my apartment...they started showin' up at the end of last summer...then went away this winter....now they're BACK...tried sprayin' that killed some of 'em but they're still comin'...and I hate to spray all that poison around my 14yr old kitty too....any exterminators here??? We've never had any roaches or spiders...and now these little pests are about to drive me bonkers!!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! :)

1. How big are they?
Even though you said beetle looking, it could be termites swarming.

5. they're teeny tiny little brownish/red bugs....not blackish.....
....there is a LOT of rotten wood under the eves of this building though...right outside my kitchen window...with bird nests up in there...just googled a pest control site but couldn't identify these on there....the only thing close to soundin' like these are powderpost beetles...but I dunno the pix of 'em make 'em look too large.....they're much smaller than termites tho...

3. entomologist here
but that description is pretty vague! Are they any particular place in your house? Near sinks? Near windows? etc?

9. try spraying into the kitchen drains
there are some insects that live there. I get lots of teeny tiny furry looking flies that live in the drains.

10. thanks...I'll try that...but these are smooth not furry.....
....I spoke with the Orkin guy last he was here and he said they'd prolly have to use some kind of extremely toxic fumes of some sort that'd take like 3 days to be able to return...I didn't like that evaluation as it'd more than likely leave that toxic residue all over my furniture and every other surface in here....don't want cat or m'self to be exposed to that....and can't afford to move anywhere else...last he was here they'd not come back yet.....now they're back in full force.

4. They have a red stripe on the back?
Then they'd be boxelder bugs.
