5. I've been watching your saga!
That's why I brought it up, because now I understand they hypnotic lure of the Perfect Meatloaf Pan.

Personally, I just use a sheet of Reynold's Release aluminum foil... but that's me.

That stuff is SLICK!

7. Watching that meatloaf pan saga is like watching the train derail at the beginning of "The Fugitive"
On one hand, it's tragic, and people got hurt. Some innocent people, some far from innocent.

On the other hand, it's such a ridiculous spectacle that how could one possibly avoid being transfixed by the sheer lunacy? The whining about the $35 made almost as much noise as the screeching metal as the train jumped track and headed into the underbrush!

It was like DU's own personal "Hindenburg Disaster!" "OH, THE HUMANITY! I JUST SPENT $35 ON A MEATLOAF PAN!"

"OH!"

The Fugitive -Train Wreck

Remains of the train wreck in the movie "The Fugitive" filmed in 1993 and starred Harrison Ford. The wreck was filmed in Dillsboro, NC (just another interesting place to visit within minutes of home). The remains are there today, located on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad property. You have to stop at the office and sign a release before being allowed to go onto the property. I went there today to shoot this and they were very friendly and helpful. If you really want to get in the mood to enjoy this, view this short video of the wreck at http://video.aol.com/video-detail/the-fugitive-bus-accident-and-train-derailment/1944126145

8. I enjoyed the link in that thread...
where the news station tries things out and reports back.

I can vouch for the gel nail polish. That stuff is amazing!

I can't wait for your updates. :)

9. Well, *you* will certainly be served 2nds or as many perfect slices as you
want, even if it means washing the pan and starting over while you wait since I didn't fall for that 2nd pan scam!1

But the anticipation of the delivery date has been dampened by the needed delay in bringing the meat home, especially since there is a salmonella alert on ground beef and turkey!1

But to the As Seen on TV evil empire and certain others - or "other" - who know who they are, I dedicate THIS:

4. And it's only $35! Oh, Toto...I'm going to buy TWO! One for Auntie Em, and one for ME!

You know, they also sell those disposable foil pans at the market for a couple of bucks. They make a perfect meatloaf too, and you don't have to clean them, you just toss 'em.

P.T. Barnum is wetting himself from the far corners of Hell.

6. LOL

PT Barnum...

Well, there's a NuWave oven on the countertop, so I just stick a sheet of aluminum foil on the bottom, in the drip pan, and put the meatloaf on the rack. At about 70% power it makes it nice and cooked without scorching the bacon on top.

Mmmm.... bacon...
