Why are Sunday LOL cats still up on Tuesday?

Time for a story.
One of our mentees had a fascination for WWII many years back.
He wanted to read the stories from when they happened.
We live near a major university with a large library that has a huge collection of old magazines.
We were looking through some Time Magazines from @ 1942.
One thing i wanted to show him was that even in wartime, life goes on.
So as we were paging through we accidentally came upon a feature that Time had during that time - the Kitty picture of the week.
You know - cats in odd situations with a comical comment like "hang in there"

Cats are timeless.

I just think that if a site says Sunday LOL Cats it should only appear on Sunday. The kitties could be moved to another site (assuming that you have an Internet Kittie Carrier that big)
