Do you go to bed at the...
same time as your spouse/significant other?

My husband and I are total opposites when it comes to a sleep schedule. He's a morning person, I'm a night person. He's up at the ass crack of dawn and a sleep by 9-9:30. I sleep slightly later but am up till at least midnight..usually later.

Even when I was working, I stayed up at least two hours later than him..

Anyone else like this?

2. Yes.
I'm a night owl, even on my days off. My husband gets up so much earlier than I do that the coffee pot has already automatically shut off by the time I awake!

3. Yes, I am a night person, hubby has to be at work at 8 AM
Now that I cannot run the farm I seldom go to bed before 2 AM. If I've very restless or achy, I will sleep in the recliner in the great room until he gets up, then I will go to bed and sleep as long as I can.

Hubby says if I go to bed earlier than midnight, he knows I'm sick!

4. Yep
I have always been a night owl and he has to get up at 4:15 a.m. for work. I was in a near-fatal car wreck years ago and ever since have had trouble sleeping. I'm lucky if I get 4 hours of sleep a night.

5. Nope. My husband works nights and I have to be up with the kids in the morning
so he's up 3-4 hours after I go to bed. I wish we could be on the same sleep schedule though, because I hate getting up early!

7. Well, when I had one, no
I've always been a night person too. Always worked nights, was more creative and energetic at night. Not the ex-SO. Due to his military service, we actually spent almost more time apart than together, but when together we actually had separate bedrooms because our schedules were so off. Plus, he snored something awful. It was the only solution - having different bedrooms - but for our 20+ years together, that was the rule, not the exception. Even so, we managed to have 4 kids together. And no one hogged the blankets except me. :)

I really have difficulty sleeping - really, sleep-sleeping - with anyone now. It just doesn't seem comfortable, regardless of schedules (not that that is a problem right now, I live like a nun . :D )

9. We are retired (at least for a while). I go to bed @9:30 Mrs. Lib @midnight
I get up @ 5 (old habits are really hard to break). She rolls down @ 8:30 or so.
I really like the cool and quiet before 8AM.

But we work it.

14. We are exactly like that!
He gets up at 5:30 a.m. to take the dogs out and is asleep by 9:30 p.m.

I never go to sleep until after the "Daily Show" even during the school year. During the school year, I get up at 6:30, but around 7:00 in the summer. I also need a nap at some point during the day. He never naps.

15. Yep, I go to bed around midnight every night, my hubby stays up. I go
earlier than him because he snores so bad, if I'm already asleep it doesn't bother me as much. If he should go to bed early, I stay up and let him "settle in" so to speak and the snoring isn't as bad.
