My local movie marquis has The Passion and HellBoy side by side!

3. saw a funny trailer last night...

for this movie called Saved!

It's a teen comedy, but the basic story is about a girl who gets pregnant and is outcast by her christian friends, only to learn who her "real" friends are, etc.

There was a funny scene where Mandy Moore's character throws a bible at the girl while yelling "I have the love of Jesus in me!"

Anyway, it struck me as an interesting movie to be coming out this year. It definitely sounds like a slam against the religious right's youth culture.

I HAVE to see this movie now. That was hilarious. Could be as good as if not better than Dogma. I just wonder how much blowback this is gonna get from the xtian community.
