They weren't trading baseball cards.
I grew up in an upstate city in New York. My older brother and myself were good friends with a guy who lived four houses down from us. Our friend's father was a furrier with a nice shop in the front of their home. Many times when we were at the home of our friend big black sedans would roll up. Men would jump out who were well dressed but always looked "suspicious" to us. These gentlemen would always enter the residence via the back door. Our friend said they were there attending to his father's "other" business.

Mr. "S" was well respected in our neighborhood, attended church regularly and was very nice to us neighborhood brats. It wasn't until years later that we confirmed what the other business was and it wasn't trading baseball cards. We all thought it was pretty heavy back then.

You have any experiences?

1. Hmmm
Well, I can't tell you about my secret life (I'm actually an alien taking notes on American culture, about ready to report my findings to Commandant Blurght :eyes: ), but these dudes you mentioned were either the mafia or they were male hookers.
