What Magnum P.I. means To You
Edited on Sun Apr-04-04 11:55 AM by m-jean03
Do you identify with him? Want to jump his bones? Move to Hawaii? Is he comrade, enemy, lover, other?

What does the mention of "Magnum P.I" mean to you in a free-association test given by a shrink?

(Meant to accompany earlier poll.http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x974106)

:)

6. Magical Realism brought into the Modern Age
It is there, and it is a major component of that show. Compare it to "The Natural", for example.

12. Pretty good TV show in its day ...
good plots, developed characters, great theme song. Some episodes even had some profundity in them.

13. When I wasn't working a couple of years ago
Mangnum was on at 9:00 am on A&E. It was like stepping back in time. I loved that show - the interaction between Thomas and Higgens, and Thomas and TC, the car , the dogs. And like you - I did love him in those shorts. Even though they were kind of creepy.
