One of my six cats, Gatita, is a music lover. She turns on the stereo to
listen to her favorite CDs. Right now, she is listening to Kevin Locke's MIDNIGHT STRONG HEART.

She has to do this on purpose, because the on/off switch for the CD player is on the front of the stereo. She sits on top of the main box and reaches down with her paw to push the button. Then she goes to sit in the window next to the stereo.

She used to crawl up on the shelf next to my printer and turn that on or off at least once a day. Since she discovered the stereo, she doesn't pay any attention to the printer...

4. I don't have any online picts of my kitties, but I guess I'll have to
start posting them.

I have five other cats: Gatita's brother, Mr. Squeeks (aka Scarf 'n' Barf, which I stole from someone here on DU, because he is a bulimic cat), Amber, a tortoiseshell, her kittens Mithrandir (she's grey, of course) aka Mithy and Manchester (he's called Mannie for short) and the latest addition to the family, another tortoiseshell named Annie. My husband is a sucker for cats, he keeps bringing them home. One more, and he gets litter box duty from now on! :D

5. about Scarf 'n' Barf -- we have one too!
Toby does that. We need to take him to the vet & find out why he does this. Do you know why Mr. Squeeks barfs frequently?

6. He eats too fast.
He started doing this after we went away for a long weekend. Our neighbor came in every day to make sure the cats had fresh food and water. We had three cats then, one has since passed, at the age of sixteen, from renal failure.

None of the cats ate much while we were gone, but as soon as we got back Squeeks started regularly gorging himself, tossing his cookies all out, and then about ten to fifteen minutes later, eating again at a more normal speed.

He stops doing it for a while and then starts all over again. Might be a security issue of some kind.
