10. Not only did I not know that,
I have no idea what that show is, nor did I even know it had a narrator.

What's it about?

14. City Confidential rocks
the way they do the show. They start with a history of the city then end with some horrific crime. Truely entertaining TV. Its not truely TV unless someone gets killed.

15. What city? Who is "they"?
Meaning no offense, but when explaing stuff to people, it's best to use specific examples and nouns.

17. ohhh
City Confidential is a series about crimes on the Biography channel. The way they produce it is pretty good. Its an hour long show with the first 30 min spent talking about the history of whatever town there doing that week. The last 30 minutes is the crime. Right now the town is Gatlinburg Tenn.

19. You still haven't explained
who is "they" and what is "the crime". I realize that "the crime" changes from episode to episode, but what crime? Is it a real thing? A made-up thing? Is this science-fiction? A Western? Is it real history? (I would assume it's real, given that it's biography)

But come one - use nouns.

23. Alright, so, if *I* had been asked this question, this is how I might have
answered. I don't know if this is right, so let me know, but this is how a complete answer would look (well, only partly, since there's a lot of info you haven't offered yet, so it's not complete, but it's more complete than what you've offered so far in any one answer):

"City Confidential is a series on the Biography channel. Each week the producers choose a murder that happened in the US. They spend the first half of the show giving a history of the town in which that murder that occurred, and in the second half they offer the story of the murder itself."

But, you see, I still don't know: do they only offer the facts on hand, or do they try to come to a conclusion as to who committed the crime? Or do they only pick crimes that have been solved? Or only crimes that were never solved? Do they only choose murders committed recently? Or do they go back to the 1800s, 1700s, or 1600s?

25. ahhhhh
I see your point. If i had been smart enough I could use the excuse that the short, incomplete answers would help me get to 300. I didn't think of that. Good idea though. Actually they use 20th century crimes that have been solved. They use the real participants, investigators, and journalists for interviews. they draw very few conclusions as to motive, in some instances even provide interviews with the convicted. Its very fact based in the crime portion and colorful in the description on the history portion.

24. Well, shit, anyone with a partial brain should have known he was lying
through his teeth about "uniting". republcian fuckers, they don't want uniting, at least not in the sense of consensus. They want death to everyone who disagrees with them.

Evil fucks.

And as you say, the Dipshit Insider-Trading Mega-Fool In Chief wasted no time at all in alienating the world against us, and them, after 9-11 when the world was back on our side, the Asshole Coke-Sniffing Pretzel-Wrestling Idiot In Chief squandered all that good will in a matter of weeks as well.

What a pussbucket assmunching beer-swilling ignorant FUCK he is.

27. hahahahhaaa
How true. The other day someone here posted a link to some freeper forum thing. I went to it and all I saw was this hate filled tripe. Most posts were about dumbocrates and stuff and how they were so much smarter. I saw more misspelled words, and bad grammar than I've ever seen. They had absolutely no arguments that ended in any form of intelligent thought, in fact most ended in stuff like "they must die". I challenge any freeper troll, or whatever they're called to read any of my editorials and debate them without resorting to, "Dem's must die".

31. It's really sad the number of times the freepers mention killing
and/or praying for death or harm to come to others.

We might spew a lot of vitriol here at DU, but I never came across anyone saying, "Hey - let's go republican hunting - I got my shotgun!" or "America won't be safe until every republican has been killed or penned up" or "Have you shot an America-hating republican today?"

We have anger, but I guess we're of a higher order in that our anger turns into action for good.

Their anger just seethes and festers and eventually comes out as hatred and violence (probably rarely physical voilence, but certainly verbal or emotional violence; or physical violence in terms of driving their SUVs erratically, hitting their kids or wives, smoking cigars at high school football games and telling people to go screw themselves (in the name of Jesus) when they complain, etc.).

I also find it interesting that we never hear of liberals ganging up to beat up/kill/drag behind a truck a conservative, or making death threats to a conservative. It's always conservative to liberal.
