Poll question: Best Beatles #1/#2 Billboard Solo Album ('70-'73)
I know - some will say Wings records are not solo records, but let's be honest - who bought a Wings record because they loved Denny Laine?

1. I voted Concert for Bangladesh
Not sure it qualifies as a conventional solo album but it is so great and you did put it on the list. My write in would be Plastic Ono Band by Lennon.

4. I had that same question re: Bangla Desh.
It's clearly not a solo album per se, but George was the driving force behind it, and it did make #2, so I included it.

I think Plastic Ono Band is an extraordinary album, but alas, it only reached #6 on Billboard. :(

2. I voted for "Ram" only because it was a major make-out >
album for me and the (still) love of my life.

Christine, I still love you madly.

3. Where the fuck is PLASTIC ONO BAND?
Or doesn't that count as a "solo" recording?

5. Only reached #6 in Billboard.
Since this is a list of #1 or #2 solo albums, it doesn't qualify :(.

7. For someone who corrects others so often about chart placings
I'm surprised at this comment. :D

(don't think Plastic Ono made #1 or #2)

9. Actually, I'm not an expert on the album charts.
My tastes are far more geared toward singles.

Sorry for the error, though.

10. No big deal
I won't be hosting a 'NightTrain finally gets his comeuppance! Everybody take a big greasy gawk!' thread or anything. :D

11. Clearly All Things Must Pass
George had by far the best solo career, if you ask me--definitely the most underrated beatle.
I even quite liked Brainwashed.
