I was afraid to take our car because hubby popped a Yankee bumper sticker on it. I was afraid the tires would get popped. Actually, Amaya drove, but next time, it's my turn. I think I might find something to temporarily cover it up when I do.

When I was in Boston this past October, the hotel I stayed at was maybe 1km from the People's Republik. Everytime we drove by there, I'd have a good chuckle.

I hope those gatherings happen more often. It was really enjoyable, and awfully heartening to see a real range of ages, personalities, and backgrounds brought together by our repulsive President and his repugant party. Great photos, by the way.

short reddish hair and the serious, serious Georgia accent. Serious. We were in college not far from there in the 80's but he's "new to the area again" having just moved from CA. I'm glad he could make it out.

Actually, I seem to have missed a few folks there. Onlooker, I don't think I met you either. I didn't get there until after 2:00, so I would have missed anyone who left before that. And with all that was going on, it would have been easy to miss someone even when I was there. I WAS there--really I was--even though I'm not in any of the pictures. LOL :shrug:

But it was great to meet everyone who I did meet--a good bunch of people. Can't wait 'til we do it again. :hi:

I miss Boston, chowder at the Union Bay Oyster House, and the gigantic fried seafood platter at no-name's (back when there was no liquor license and people would be hauling the giant coolers of Bud into the place). Sigh.
