What is your favourite holistic remedy? Mine has to be eating candied ginger to
fix a hangover or a sore stomach. I no longer drink but when I was in my early twenties I worked in a health food store. We'd occasionally come into work hungover. Our bosses would make us eat candied ginger. It warmed up your tummy and fixed your headache in 10 minutes flat. Every time.

3. Could have used that little tidbit back in the day.
I like to sip mint tea after a big meal. I don't know if it actually does anything, but it makes me feel like I'm digesting better.

19. Huh?
Hi Gray,
Can you provide a bit more on this, like where I could get some, you buy it fresh or dried or what? I know I have the google machine, but hey, felt like bugging you to get more info.

Peace

7. Garlic. For just about everything. I'm also a big fan of daily olive oil
for joint pain, which I basically don't have. Also good for flexibility.

I don't drink, either, but back in college my favorite hangover cure was iced tea (Nestea to be precise.) Some teas have a naturally detoxifying effect on the liver and I think this was part of the reason it worked for hangovers. And maybe the plant sterols had something to do with that.

20. crystallized ginger root is also
a prophylactic for seasickness. When I go salmon fishing, I use it instead of motion sickness pills which tend to put me to sleep.
