Bad Teacher = Mediocre movie.
Saw it this afternoon and was unimpressed. If you saw the previews for it you pretty much saw the high points of the movie. If I saw it was on TV I'd probably watch a couple scenes and flip the channel. Bummer. It had potential and I think they dropped the ball.

Anybody else see it yet?

1. I'm surprised it was even mediocre...
It looked like cliche after cliche...

3. Yes, it was cliche central.
Don't expect "original" anything if you see it.

5. I'm looking forward to "Horrible Bosses"
I'm hoping it will be the comedy that "Hangover II" failed to deliver

8. Could be worse: could have been the same exact movie, right down to the jokes
Hangover II comes to mind

2. I actually wanted to see that
Previews looked funny, especially Cameron Diaz. I'll hold off on it now. I always wait for the DVD so I'll hold off until I watched several new releases.

4. Usually, Diaz is in a movie worth watching.
This one, however, is not.

Save your money.

9. Would this be an example of "high concept"?
Where the idea of the film is the plot of the film, with no real story, just an imaginary situation. I'm getting old because I find the concept and the scenes from the trailer offensive intellectually. I'm also insulted that there are people who sit around a room somewhere and talk each other into thinking this is a good idea and that of course the populace will eat any shit we serve.
